ATLANTA: City of Peace is uniting with peace-builders in Georgia, around the USA, and from every nation of our Global Family worldwide...
"WE HAVE A DREAM!"
A couple of years before the official term (our organization's name) was used in the "ATLANTA: City of Peace" Address* (on 11 December 2006), or even registered with the Georgia Secretary of State (on 28 November 2006), our founder and our earliest leaders envisioned Dr. King's birth-city being transformed & formalized into a GLOBAL Capital of Peace. The ACP organization (#250) has been an active supporter and member for:

ATLANTA: City of Peace is developing into a Think Tank. We have three (3) Boards and if you would like to learn about them, or more about our various Peace Proposals & ATL-Peace Initiatives then please see the PDF download documents below (or click Peace Initiative link). Thank you.
Dr. Yunus (in photo) is the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, and he delivered an inspiring Atlanta speech on August 28, 2010 "I HAVE A DREAM" Anniversary. Just before his speech, John R. Naugle was given the honor & opportunity to deliver their "World Peace Before 2021" Proposal. Mr. Naugle is magnetized to accomplished peace builders, especially Nobel Peace Laureates. Before meeting Dr. Yunus in 2010, John had met Nobel Peace Laureates President Carter, Rigoberta Menchú Tum, and Bishop Desmond Tutu (2006). He has also met Nobel Peace Prize Nominees Senator Sam Nunn and Ted Turner. In 2015, John's Atlanta: City of Peace (ACP) organization sent an Open Invitation to all Nobel Peace Laureates via 'The Norwegian Nobel Committee' (and with patience, he awaits the FIRST & most courageous Nobel Peace Laureate to accept and take a leadership position).
Some of John R. Naugle's friends call him "John Quixote" because his service dreams seem impossible. John founded the Atlanta: City of Peace. Inc. (ACP) organization in November 2006. However, it was in June 2003 that John created, or authored the official brand terms for Dr. King's birth city & state (©Atlanta: City of Peace™ and ©Georgia: The Peace State™). In mid-2003, when Atlanta citizens were considering adding another mayor's name to ATL: World's Biggest & Busiest Airport, John established "Friends of Gandhi-King-Carter" to promote the goal & petition to add the names of Three (3) of the world's most accomplished & celebrated peacemakers to the airport name. It was at this time, in 2003, that John first presented his ideal ©brand-terms publicly and his decision to first develop them through a community group, rather than a commercial business was intentional. Here is the old site: www.GKC-Airport.com
