John: "Be the change & dream..."
Dr. Yunus (in photo) is the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, and he delivered an inspiring Atlanta speech on August 28, 2010 "I HAVE A DREAM" Anniversary. Just before his speech, John R. Naugle was given the honor & opportunity to deliver their "World Peace Before 2021" Proposal. Mr. Naugle is magnetized to accomplished peace builders, especially Nobel Peace Laureates. Before meeting Dr. Yunus in 2010, John had met Nobel Peace Laureates President Carter, Rigoberta Menchú Tum, and Bishop Desmond Tutu (2006). He has also met Nobel Peace Prize Nominees Senator Sam Nunn and Ted Turner. In 2015, John's Atlanta: City of Peace (ACP) organization sent an Open Invitation to all Nobel Peace Laureates via 'The Norwegian Nobel Committee' (and with patience, he awaits the FIRST & most courageous Nobel Peace Laureate to accept and take a leadership position).
ACP's Birth
Some of John R. Naugle's friends call him "John Quixote" because his service dreams seem impossible. John founded the Atlanta: City of Peace. Inc. (ACP) organization in November 2006. However, it was in June 2003 that John created, or authored the official brand terms for Dr. King's birth city & state (©Atlanta: City of Peace™ and ©Georgia: The Peace State™). In mid-2003, when Atlanta citizens were considering adding another mayor's name to ATL: World's Biggest & Busiest Airport, John established "Friends of Gandhi-King-Carter" to promote the goal of adding the names of Three (3) of the world's most accomplished & celebrated peacemakers to the airport name. It was at this time, in 2003, that John first presented his copyright ideal & unique brand-terms publicly and his decision to first develop them through a community group's petition, rather than a commercial business entity was intentional.
