ACP LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: ATLANTA: City of Peace, which represents a beautifully diverse metro area population that will soon have 8 million citizens, is located on the once cherished ancestral lands of the Muscogee (Creek) Tribal Nation. These lands were known by them and other tribes as 'The Heart of the Turtle' because of its abundance of wildlife, healing spring waters, natural herbs, fruits, vegetables, and minerals. It was ceded as part of the coerced US government agreement from the First Treaty of Indian Springs-- January 8, 1821. FYI: Georgia officials wanted land to expand their plantation economy, separate the Creeks from the Cherokee to prevent alliances, and satisfy white settlers' land hunger. This land, which still includes a sacred ceremonial site now called Stone Mountain that was used for 8000+ years, was home to these peaceful indigenous peoples, and also to generations of enslaved people who were brought here forcibly. ATLANTA: City of Peace celebrates all the old and new generations of these amazing sisters and brothers of Our Global Family: ONE Tribe. Through the study of real history, ATLANTA: City of Peace recognizes the considerable suffering and struggles of the indigenous and enslaved people of these lands, and we honor their past contributions by supporting their civil rights to seek healing, justice and restoration. We are inspired by the words of many social activists --- especially Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. who is still the world's most often referenced Nobel Peace Prize Laureate:
“We are now faced with the fact that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now. In this unfolding conundrum of life and history, there “is” such a thing as being too late. This is no time for apathy or complacency. This is a time for vigorous and positive action.”
HUMANITY GIVEN DOMINION OVER MOTHER EARTH: Our Global Family: ONE Tribe has been given complete dominion, care, and responsibility over MOTHER EARTH. Humankind --- all the kind peoples of this planet who genuinely love their Creator, and their neighbors (those who are around them whether they be human, fish, flora or fauna) are fortunately TEACHING the Large Language Models (LLMs) of Artificial Intelligence (AI) how to be kind and loving. TOGETHER, WE EMBRACE OUR NEIGHBORS AND MOTHER EARTH to prove that the Greed of Mankind is a tragic dead-end that has zero lasting worth. THREE CHEERS to Humankind and Our Global Family: ONE Tribe for proclaiming "YES" to this Humanity Proclamation by John R, Naugle and "NO" to the warning of Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI...
